Footfall scenarios for a Rail Baltica station development

A mobility study for a building project next to a new Rail Baltica station. The question was how people would reach and move through the building once the station opens, and which design would serve them best.

SPIN Unit measured pedestrian movement around the site from existing camera footage, on weekdays and at weekends, and built an agent-based simulation of the flows as they are today.

The simulation was then used to compare footfall under several design scenarios against the present situation. The client and the site are confidential.
